I bought the Lake Master software a few years back and it has many nice features. It not only keeps track of fishing spots, but it also doubles as a journal and I find that feature just as valuable, if not more.
Anywho....I've been hearing about an upgrade that has had a release date of approximately 3 weeks for the last 3-4 months and it's driving me nuts. It sounds like this new version is going to have some nice upgrades. Anyone else waiting for the upgrade?

I have been using a Garmin 12 xL gps for the last seven years or so. i had an issue with it once upon a time where it lost all stored data.
i didn't have that much on it, but i did have some prime spots marked on red, winnie, cutfoot, and moose lake.
i called their customer service number and they instructed me to mail it to them.
i mailed it on monday and had it back by friday, only it was a brand new unit.
the second time i had an issue with it, the internal battery was failing so i called them again and once again they had it back to me in less than a week. once again it was a brand new unit, but they transfered my stored waypoints onto the new unit for me.
I was very impressed.
now after six more years, and about a hundred and a half waypoints later, I turned it on the night before last and the message"stored data was lost"
popped up once again.....AARRRGGG!!
I know it is about 8 years old, but come on.
all those years of hotspots gone >:(
I will be calling that phone number once again.
i need to upgrade to a nicer handheld with removeable memory so i can down load it to a disk on my computer every so often.
i hope they do something to make me happy, for right now I am not :'(
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!

Jiggle, thats where the LakeMaster software comes in. You can store all your points on your computer and only download the points you need. I've got the Garmin 12 also. I'ts been a great unit for me.

I've been looking at the Lowrance H20 C

I called again a couple days ago and they said "hoefully by the end of the month" It sounds like they keep finding clitches in the new software. If it wasn't only going to be $50 for existing lakemaster owners to upgrade, I'd break down and buy the H2O C.
