Well we are still seeing our fisherman come in with limits of crappies but the bite has been short windows. If you are not there for the bite it could be a long day. No real pattern right now. They may bite at eight in the morning they may bite at four in the afternoon. Seeing lots of fish on the vexlar but many are lookers. Dead sticking seems to work best right now.

The trout bite has been off and on but hardcore lake trout anglers are still catching a few. A muskie catch at this time of year has even the most experienced angler excited. We are probably two weeks away from the March Bonanza of all species going on the feed. March is magical and soon as it turns on we will let you know.

Crappies soon will move shallow and the trout will once again begin their suicidal bite. Until then like this report the bite is short but sweet if you catch it right. Also good luck to all MNO members to win our trip donated to the get together. We look forward to showing you a North Western Ontario fishing trip we take pride in.
