STARBUCK - Minnewaska Bait, Larry Jensen, Hwy 29 near the Starbuck Marina (320-239-2239) The bass fishing has been excellent in the shallows, near docks, and Starbuck marina using spinnerbaits. Walleye have been biting in 20 to 24 feet of water on Minnewaska in front of the high school on crawlers and leeches. Sunfish have been found in the bull rushes and anglers have had success using waxworms or small leeches.
