Two weeks ago I took a drive to the local lake to see how much ice was left.  There is a golf course on the way there and I was shocked to see that there were already people out there.  Then I drove by the parking lot and it was full.  The strange thing is that on this course the 8th hole you need to take a ferry across the lake to get to your second shot and the lake was still frozen.  I'm not sure how that worked because the boat is really the only way across.

The public courses around here have been very busy this week. Too windy for me yesterday....

I might try to get out on Sunday though.

You could have probably hit a long drive yesterday if the hole was going with the wind.

I should have gotten out before the water hazzards melted.  It would have saved me alot of money in lost balls.  Dang.

Rocks, the course you are talking about is Stonebrooke, bordering O'Dowd...that's the course we're playing...supposed to be 65 and sunny tomorrow!

Yes it is the course I am talking about.  I played there a few time last year and I think it is a really nice course.  You will have to let me know what happens on hole 8.

I leave for Breezy Point on Thursday for the weekend to play. :dancinred:
If today was perfect. There would be no need for tomorrow.

Are those courses open already?  I am staying at Breezy for a week in June.  I think our unit is on the 18th green of the White Birch course.  That week can't get here soon enough.

We go every April at the same time and yes they are. We have a blast. We play both courses. The one right off property is a better course. They own both.
