Ok guys.. i never thought about this before, altho i did plant some clover for grouse, so maybe i did a few years back..
But after reading the thread  here, now i am excited..
And have tons of questions

Ok so i shall start here..

is there more i can read besides this site?  I want to read as much as i can,

are their books out there somewhere

and if i look for book do i just look for land management for animals?
or habitat management?

i kind of been looking not finding  a whole lot

NG... the Ruffed Grouse Society has biologists just for this purpose... they also have different books and pamphlets for landowners wanting to improve habitat like you do... check out their website, I think its rgs.com but dont quote me on that.  They're great folks, and very helpful, they even have a program where they'll come out and check out yer land and give you advise as how to improve it for wildlife... I went on an outing with em years back to clear brush and make clearings and stuff.  Wish I had land to do that stuff, theres lots of things you can do and its not just about pouring a bag of biologic on a trail.... Check em out, they'll be very helpful to ya with that stuff!
