Fish On Bait and Sport
Downtown Glenwood two blocks south of the stop lights

Just a fantastic walleye bite going on!  Brought home 7 really nice walleyes on Sunday but I think I was the only one using crank baits.  Everyone else was jigging with a minnow...I can't sit still that long!

There were about 14 boats on school point so we made a little pass by them to see what was going on.  In the short pass, we seen 3 nice walleyes brought in in about 16 to 20 ft.  We even caught one on the cranks as we passed by at 12 ft.

Hope to get back out there soon!

Crappies are being caught in the reeds along the north side but I am sure they can be found out from Peter's Resort at this time as well.

Nice sunfish as always...just about anywhere but we tend find the bigger ones out deeper.  We have panfish leaches, crappie minnows, crawlers and waxies for the panfish.

Some nice pike being caught as well.  Biggest for us on Sunday was a 30 incher with what looked to be a perch or small walleye in the gut.  Everyone's eating good!

Bass everywhere.  Caught a nice 18 inch small mouth out from the beach in 4 ft. of water using a floating rap...just one pass and picked her up but then had to load the boat.  I would have loved to make a few more passes but family obligations were calling.

I am hearing good reports from Emily, Reno and Paige as well.  Another perfect night...I will try to slip away from the house under the cover of darkness while everyone sleeps!
