Does anyone have any experience with princecraft boat?  Particularly their deckboats?  We MIGHT be trading/selling our 04 monark king 190 with a 150 opti for either the ventura 191 or 221 deckboat.  Does anyone have any experience with any deckboats?
We are thinking about one of these.

We had a 223 fun deck made by Hurricane from 2000-2004.? Nice boat! Crap motor! (Mercury)....? We sold it so I can get my new fishing boat... nice boat!? Crap motor! (Mercury).

If you are looking to get into a deck boat, I'd srongly consider the Princecraft.? The Hurricane rode great and was fun, but it was a vessel!? All fiber glass, with gas and motor and anything and everything in it, it topped out around 4500 pounds!? We used it mainly on the weekends on the river, where a big heavy boat is an asset.? Plus as an aluminum boat, if you use it for fishing, you can get by with a smaller trolling motor and if you have rocks on the lake you are fishing, you won't have to worry as much about damaging your hull.? I looked strongle at a "smaller" Princecraft deck boat when we got our cabin (I think a 19') with the fishing package, but opted for a straight fishing rig instead.? They are great for entertaining and ride MUCH better than a pontoon!

Good luck!

Ken

Thanks for the info.  We are thinking this might be a little bit better for the family (6+the dog).  I think it would give us a little more room since it has more of an open floor plan.
