I just wanted to send out a reminder to everyone to talk to your taxidermist before you go out hunting this year. It could save you some cash and time. Find out how your taxidermist would like specimens cared for immediately after the kill and what to do in the event you cannot get them to him or her right away. I know Auggie and myself have postedseveral things about field care in the past but I wanted to remind everyone, especially since animals do spoil quick in this warm weather.
If anyone has any questions that were not answered in the field care thread at the top of the taxidermy forum feel free to ask.
