Anyone psyced up for the season like I am?  As soon as the Twinkees are eliminated and the leaves start fallin, I start thinkin hockey.... at first I was bummed with Rolston and Fedoruck and Parrish leaving, but I think they added some really strong vetran players that will make up for the losses... I still remember how Rolston was a total non-factor in the post season, he just stunk... I think getting Bruno back from the Avs is huge, especially how he killed us every time we played the Avs!  Fernandez is starting for the Bruins tomorrow, so it'll be a interesting way to start the season... Got some youngins starting also so it'll be fun watching them grow into the NHL this year... BRING IT ON! :dancinred:  :taz:

I agree Thunder, Fedoruk is a big major loss. That man loves the game and gives everything he has. He Knows how to put the puck in the net as well. Even thiough the game has changed in format Jaques is still stuck in the seventies and and I feel the Wild will suffer on account of that.

typical wild game... hold on to a 3 goal lead...

I wish they would just stay aggressive for three periods once in a while.

Yeah it was typical wasnt it... but not bad considering they hadnt played in like six days... they started out really slow & stale.... But a W is a W! :dancinred:  I was looking at the roster a week ago and noticed one big thing with me.... Only one US born player on the team, and he's from Michigan!  Then in the Trib this weekend, it said we have the fewest US born players in the league... I dont know if its a huge deal but being in the hot bed of American hockey, we'd have a few more US guys on our team, if not a few MN guys....  Come on Doug, I know yer a Canadian, but if just for the fans... get a MN guy on the team! Does Broten still skate? ;)
