Rumor has it!
 Spearing opens nov 15th anybody here anything becuz I have to start mounting my pontoons on my spear house if the rumors true :bonk:

Per page 53 of the 2008 regulations book; spearing for Pike, Catfish and Whitefish opens Dec 1.

I doubt theres any truth to it. After all, thats hardly promoting safety. They may as well open it on august 15th for as much ice as there would be in the middle of november across 99% of the state.
