I HAVE HEARD that a cup or two of peroxide mixed in with your clothes works well.  I usually just wash mine with a scent killer then wash them (no detergent) one or two times and let them air dry outside.  Hang outside at the shack for a week or two and I'm godo to go.

I used that field and stream recipe last year.  Instead of using unsented soap, I had a bottle of unscented sportsmans laundry detergent laying around.  Was pretty easy to make and on the cheap side.  I made around a gallon of the stuff for less than 10 bucks.  Just follow the recipe on the site and away you go. ::cheers::

We used to use a watered down vanilla extract solution for years...It does work, and a heck of a lot cheaper than the "high tech" stuff that ya pay so much for.  I believe the ratio was one part vanilla extract to five parts water, and put it in your old scent killer bottle....            -thunderpout 8)

Did anyone try these last year?  Or does anyone else make their own scent killer?

We make our own scent killer called XXX the stuff works great.

16oz distilled water
16oz Hydrogen Proxside  (brown bottle)
1/4 cup of baking soda
1/2oz (1/2 shot glass) scent free body wash,  This will make it a little slimey so it will stick to your clothes
Mix it all up and leave sit for 7days to de-gass
Spray on and go hunt

I've heard of just using plain old baking soda without detergent works.  Don't use dryer sheets if you do dry them inside.  I hang 'em on the clothes line outside.
