Well this post probably wont get much talk until November. Neither younghunt13 or myself bow hunt yet so it is strictly rifle hunting. I am not sure about GG but think she is also just a rifle hunter. This should give the rest of the teams a chance to get ahead while they can. We only need a week or two in November to catch everyone. :rotflmao:

Seriously I wish every hunter and every team the best of luck and SAFE hunting. Remember a bad day hunting is still better than a good day working.

Hey GG and younghunt13, we should come up with a name. If you come up with something we can use it or I have a couple of silly ideas.

Buckshots
Blaze Orange Blasters
Whitetails Worst Nightmare
Whitetail Wrecking Crew

Let me know if any of these work.

Well early on when GG saw the teams, she was going  :blablabla: about it and said something about being Team #1 so I chaged it to that just to pull her string.  I like your ideas better though.  You guys decide amongst yourself and I'll change it for you.

Grute ...You have to pull MUCH harder than that on my string!!!  :moon:  ;D

Anway...
Faceman, all your ideas are great for the names.  I really like the name
"BLAZE ORANGE BLASTERS"

But if you decide on a different one, that is fine with me too!

And your right about one thing...let's give all these guys a good, long head start, because they are all so "special" and they do deserve a chance afterall....then come November....
Let's BLAST them all down...one by one!!  :fudd: ;D

Well GG I am sorry we let you down. Younghunt13 did not get any deer this year. He only saw 2. One was over 300 yards away and the other one he jumped from a bed and got off 2 shats at it but missed.
I on the other hand did not see any on Saturday or Sunday. On monday morning I watched a doe from over 400 yards away slowly work its way to my stand at about 30 yards so I took her. I went up to her to gut it and low and behold it was a spiker, the antlers were 3 inches exact so I guess it may only be 20 points but that is up to our all mighty contest leader (even though we cant win anyway). Then on Monday night I shot a non typical buck with broken points. Those were the only 2 deer I saw until Thursday when I busted 3 does from a bed and could not get a shot off. That was it. Deer hunting was very slow this year in my area. Not much shooting anywhere up there all week. Here are my pics.

If you look close at the last pic you can see a point dropping down by the eye and another wrapping up over the forehead.

Man that's about the most beat up set of antlers I've ever seen.  So ugly, you just had to take him out right?   ;D  Well it will give you some tie breaker points.  Maybe you should measure those points on your first one again. You know they shrink a bit after they start to dry out.   ;)
