Does anyone know anything about these boots. Are they comfy, warm, durable, pliable?

They are very similar to my Irish Setter Snow Stalkers, smaller and way lighter than pac boots, and just about as warm...they discontinued my boots , and the Snow Claws replaced them, I think... they are the new and improved version... Mine are 1000 g's of thinsulate.  First year I had em, it was minus 13 degrees in my stand, made it to lunch and my feet were the only things that werent cold... If I only use em for deer hunting, theyll last a lifetime!  Not an all around, do everything boot , but awesome for cold weather deer hunting... :happy1:

funny you should ask faceman... I work at RedWing Shoe Co., who just happens to make Irish Setter boots.
I think I have gotten my hands on about 6or 7 pairs of them now for my family and friends, and I have a pair.  I haven't tried them in the field yet, because they might be a little warm (1600 gram thinsulate) , I am still using my 800 gram thinsulate boots still.  But I think they will be very comfortable and warm.  They are very light, so they will be great for deer hunting to keep your feet warm when sitting, but easy to walk in when tracking.  I used to have 200 gram LaCrosse icekings, but they were so bulking and hard to walk in.  And they are waterproof.

I think these will be great boots.  I would recommend them.

Well thats what I am looking for. I want to get away from pack boots for something easier to walk in. I have yet to find anything to keep my feet warm yet. I am looking at either the snow claws or the snow claw xt. Where would be the best place to buy them at a descent price? I know they are not cheap.

And I plan on using them pretty much just for stand hunting.

Full disclosure - I handle public relations for Irish Setter boots. The Snow Claw XT recently won Field & Stream's Best of the Best award. Here's a link to that story

These boots have a great insulation package featuring 2000 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation and a Thermal Boost of Aerogel, a nanotechnology used by NASA. See amazing demos of this material at www.aerogel.com. A great pick for cold weather hunting, treestands and ice fishing.

I did buy these boots and absolutely love them. Very warm and very comfortable. I still get a chilled toe every once in awhile but I will never find anything to keep my feet completely warm.
