:fishing: Get your gear ready!!!  Fishing is great on almost all area lakes.  Day fishing has been good, but the great fishing has been evening time!

Crappie have been hitting hardcore in deeper water.  Many are using crappie/fat heads.  Waxies are working alright, but minnows have been the bait of choice.

Walleyes have picked up again too.  Most people have been using Fatheads or Rainbows.  The shiners around here have not been the healthiest lately, but if you can find good ones, they are working still.

Northerns are hitting pretty good on suckers.

Flooding has gone down considerably on most lakes, road are also still being plowed and kept up nicely.  The warm weather expected this weekend should definitly help improve everything.

Good luck and have fun!

Went out to Upper Cormarant on Sunday and caught a few nice crappies and one nice pike in about 20 feet of water.  I was using fatheads and fishing near the island.  Good luck to everyone headed out this weekend and stay warm.
There's nothing like a day in the stand.
