Well for once the weather man was right and its warm. And as I thought with a warm up comes a better bite. The only thing that is missing is the numbers of bigger fish. Seems the little one are just to aggresive to get the bait to the big ones. Caught around 75 gills yesterday to only put 12 keepers in the fry pan. Had a few crappie and a few perch but no keepers. I have been using bigger plastics such Rat finky, glowies, to try and avoid the smaller fish and so I dont have to re-bait all the time. Seen a few northerns on tip-ups get taken and one in the 36 inch range. After a day of gilling  I thought I would try the walleye bite but only a few small saugers and perch took the jig-n-rap. I think the flow has skyrocketed do to major run off in the river and will take a few days to get the fish back on track..
