There's a big die off going on near the bayport powerplant.

I talked to the fisheries director and they're out testing the water and cutting 4'x4' squares and testing to see what the cause is.  Low oxygen is being ruled out.  The director said that he's seeing a lot of 30"+ walleyes belly up as well as many other quality fish belly up.  really sad.

I read that in the paper today. Sounds like it was mostly, if not all, shad. They said it could have something to do with xcel taking it's plant offline for a month.

That's what heard as well Joe. Doesn't sound that bad as to what was first reported.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.
