There are three canoes (as of now) taking a little trip down the Mississippi from Elk River to Dayton tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Probably heading out around 10:00 and should be about a 4 or 5 hour trip. But it might be a little faster due to the spike in water level's. The flow in Anoka is ~3,000 cfs. The highest it has been in a while.

All the canoes are full right now but we might be able to squeeze in another person if someone wants to tag alone...  There is definetly room if you have a canoe or small jon boat.

The fish are still going...  Between 6 of us I bet we caught or got close to the canoe 40 smallies.

Unfortuneately, I don't think its going to happen this year.  Next two weekends booked and at least the three after that Ill be at the cabin.  Mon - Wed is booked as soccer for me the boy.  Maybe a Thursday after work or hooky day.
