So how does everyone feel about the Vikings draft? I am satisfied they pretty much adressed what needed to be done. (Besides QB which was not an option).

i was there for the first day(see the front page of the star tribune sports section)...i was pretty upset that they didnt trade up a bit to get jermey maclin(sp) cause im not completly sold on harvin and i didnt want him.. i liked vonta(sp) davis (the CB) instead. because we need help at CB because sapp sucks and gordon is coming off a big injury that still bothers him(he still limps around) and davis fits our D and he is a hitter and he can return the ball play on both sides if special teams (kick off and return) and he is just as fast as Harvin. i liked our second pick with the Big tackle 6-8 335 who will start instead of cook or hicks. i didnt mind our CB that we drafted i dont know much about him but he is small. overall i think we did a pretty good job

Cody.... please tell me you werent one of those purple faced guys with Vikes tatoos on their arms.... ;)  Yeah, even more than our first pick, I really like that huge tackle we took for the 2nd pick... I guess we'll see how smart pickin Harvin was after he gets out of NFL rehab.... :whistling: I worry though, How smart of a guy is gonna do some wacky tobacky a few weeks before the combine/draft? :bonk:  Then again... Ziggy aint gonna pay him to think, hes just gotta catch the ball and fly.... ;D

No-one wanted that guy out of Marshall college either, but we took a chance, and a veteran took it upon himself to teach a few morals before he retired.

Hopefully Harvin turns out decent, lays off the tabacky, and gets some decent playing time and experience this year!
Marry an outdoors woman. Then if you throw her out into the yard on a cold night, she can still survive.

It is nice to have a receiver who can fly though he is short. He will be a good slot guy if he can put down the pipe but Im not too convinced he will. Besides he still does not have anyone to throw him the ball. I like the size of the tackle but dont know much else about him.
