Though they are not official yet there is talk about moving 9 permit areas from zone 4 to zone 2. It sounds like this might probably go through. Another discussion is about a change in these areas of moving rifle limits down from I-94 the hwy 55. This one sounds iffy at best. Their intent is becuase they think they have too many deer in these areas.

I my self live north of 55 by 2 miles and from my observation the population within 15 miles is down. Heards that winter up normally in the 200+ range are no about in the 60-80 range. That doesn't mean they are down in every part of the permit area but right around me they are.

What do others think about these possible changes?
