Just was informed about the site. Looks interesting, but we need to do something about the lack of dog talk on here. To be quite honest I decided to join when I saw the thread of best breeds. OH BOY right. Sounds like a strong Lab group. Sorry about that we all have problems. :USA:
Just Kidding. We used to raise Labs, GSP's and Field bred ESS. We now just Have our field bred ESS. Using them for waterfowl, upland, grouse and enjoying training for and running in AKC field trials in the off season. So heres to taking a beating from you Lab folks :bonk:, but I can dish it back too.  :fudd:
Hope to get to know some of you, who knows maybe already do.

You won't get any dog bashing from me here.  To each their own. I used to own 2 springers.  Great dogs.  Never had a lab, just wasn't into waterfowl much.  Nice to have ya here.

Welcome FCSpringer , I’ve been here a few weeks myself and have enjoyed my posts not being edited, changed, moved, deleted, or getting locked out.

I’ve got a Lab and a Springer so I can talk forever about the many fine qualities of both.

Tink-THG

Just a note I have a 1st pick Springer puppy coming from February breeding of Max-Mocha.

I'll give the Springers a thumbs up :happy1: I have had three English Springers and my boys Bud and Barney dad was a Springer. Mix that with a lab and I have the best of both!

Hey FCSpringer.... Yep... Lots of Lab folks here, Im a Setter guy, have had a bunch of english setters, most of them the old Ryman version, thus I dont hash out the best breed bs anymore, its gets old being one of a hundred in a sea of lab folks. And nothing wrong with labs either, its just most of the time the owners think there is no other breed on the planet earth! ;)  I like springers, My dad grew up with em, got freinds who hunt them... great dogs!  Welcome to the site FSC! :happy1:  You wont get any crap from me here, I still like to toss the bs around a little but mostly like to help other dog owners with questions we all have, and things we have gone through when hunting over dogs for years......

Diddo TP. like I said use to have Labs as well. But They just went along the wayside for us. Nothing personal to anyone. We had some good ones. Just after years of them and what we have now, It's the direction we went is all. ;)

Cody what club is that? I also support a HRC club but have not realy been involved. I might mess around this year, it's tough to do both that and trials.

You should check it out, I'ts not weather a dog is good enough. It is a great time, alowing you to do more with a dog during the off season. When you get with a good group, it takes the dog to the next level and can amaze a person what they can get out of them. Plus it is like hunting year round. Well at least in our game any way, it's pheasant hunting year round, can't go wrong. Good time. :happy1:

I bet my lab can outdrool your springers any day. Especially if your eating a steak. Welcome aboard.

If you just love hunting and cannot get enough during the regular season, I highly recommend. I ate pheasants year around, worn out shotguns and boots, shot over 3000 birds in a year, and had some pretty good hunting dogs.
