i was walking around this morning dove hunting and came across 3 deer right infront of me. i couldnt beleive the size of the 3rd one, it was a fawn and it couldnt of weighted more than 35 lbs my question is how late can a doe breed? is it possible that his deer is only a few weeks old?

That is not uncommon. I have does on my properties now that still have spots. Assume that in some areas there were does bred as late as January. All depends on density and ratio.

I had a doe and fawn come right through my yard a few days ago.
