Went and got my license today, First time in 35 years that i will gun hunt. We have a lot of
land to hunt this year and should do well. Saw a doe chasing a big buck this weekend, Kind of
early for that isnt it?

you mean a big buck chancing a doe? never seen it the other way around :scratch: but i have seen a small 6 pointer chasing does also and have seen him chase all the other bucks away also, he was very aggressive. heard the same from other guys also that they seeing some bucks chasing its a little strange

I know what you mean, this Fall is a little strange.  I was up checking the deer land the weekend before bow opener and checked two spots that normally have scrapes and what do you know, I found two different spots that had scapes already, that's the earliest I've seen scrapes on the ground, they were really worked over too.    :green archer:

The big doe was following the buck...  yes very strange. He was like trying to get
