My 6th grader is in a hunting/fishing club in school.  She is the only girl in the club.  They are going pheasant hunting next week.  MAN, I wish they had that when I was in school.  Does anyone else have hunting clubs in there kids schools?

What school - what district? That's pretty cool.
And that's pretty cool that your daughter is in the club.

She goes to Watertown-Mayer, and I think it is dist.108.  She wears camo pants, shirts to school.  She does not conform to the masses.  I'm very proud of her willingness to be an individual and not be a follower like so many others.   She is very confident and sure about herself.

That's way cool that your daughter is in that. I really wish they had that when I was in school or had it now for my kids. Don't see that happening in St. Paul though. I wish more would follow what your district is doing and know there is an importance to outdoor sports and awareness.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.

I cant remember the exact state but it might be ohio or indiana or even illinois? Well they have a state sanctioned bass league for high schoolers now. They are the only state that does it in the U.S. I saw it on Tv a month or so ago now . Pretty awsome!

Wouldn't it be awsome to go to college on a fishing scholarship?  :happy1:

I live in East Bethel MN, part of the St Francis school district and they have a skeet shooting club after school. I have a son that lives in KC MO and he is taking an outdoors class where the kids get their fire arm safety and get to trap shoot, learn archery,  and go fishing......how cool is that :USA:
