But I am buying a non-res WI. deer tag. A buddy of mine that lives over there says to get over there, they are all over the place.  And well... my lack of luck here, and just from what I am not seeing, I figure it is worth it. That and the 2$ bonus tags you can buy for does... I might get 3 deer yet this year...

hell, I haven't even seen three in MN the last 12 days.
He saw 14 just tonight sitting out in a ground blind.

cheeseheads look out!!!!!!!! :fudd:

I spent the $160 on a non-resident tag (I used to live in Wisconsin) and it was worth every penny.  Not because I shot a spike buck, but I got to hunt with Dad.

And bonus doe tags are $20, they used to be $2 for intensive harvest at least in my unit.  I think it depends on the unit number for doe tag cost.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

John, good luck, and I will be right alone with you next season.  The quality of deer and quantity of deer over the border seem to be superior to MN.  Hopefully in the near future I will be thanking the Cheeseheads for a sweet QB and good deer hunting!
