This year I left the cameras out and the second weekend I got out of my stand at 9:15 and had a nice 10 point come by at 10:05 looking for does. I could kick myself in the a$$ for that one.

left our cameras out all season.. you can see opening day.. we walk by... out comes a doe... nephew gets cold and heads in past the camera.. 5 minutes after.. out comes the doe.. she was a small one and liked the acorns  under that oak.. but still funny to see

Ya. have some of my best luck between 10 a.m  and 2 p.m  when other people are moving around for lunch and stuff. All the comotion usually stirs up the deer and you can really benefit by staying in your stand.

I've stayed in the stand all day.  It's hit or miss.  Some days it seems better to walk around.  If you're lucky like me, the deer stand up and assess you before running.
