We have been plowing our roads all day and the ice has been cooperating!  It has been slow and our main road is looking great to Shaws Reef and the guy's are currently plowing the fingers over the reef.  The snow is wet and heavy so be sure to use caution when running high speed on snowmobiles when the temps begin to drop, this type of snow can make for some rough landings!

We should have ice roads ready on Sunday.  We will be ready to pull the smaller private houses out as well.  Due to the weight and pressure from the wet snow, we would not recommend any of the larger houses be pulled yet at this time.  Rentals should also be ready for tomorrow night.  We will send another update late tonight or early tomorrow to let you know if the day ends as good as it has started.

Regardless of which resort you go out of on Lake Mille Lacs, take a second to say "Thanks" to an "Ice Guy".  These guys really do a great job.  As well as being the first on untested ice to ensure it's safety, they literally create hundreds of miles of roadway systems on the lake to be sure everyone can have a safe and enjoyable place to fish this incredible lake.

Our ice communities are growing!  We are pulling to Shaw's Reef, 2 Mile, & 4 Mile.
The Ice is mostly between 12 and 15 inches at this time.  We have found some 9" ice around the Big Point area so we will give those areas a little more time as we have plenty of great fishing areas covered at this time.

Fishing -
Overall, the lake has been producing well for those that have been running around the lake the past few weeks.  With our privates and rentals only out for a few day's, the best report came from
8'-11' bouncing a fathead on a Swedish pimple off the bottom at dusk.

We have most of our rentals out & they are booking fast! Call to reserve your today! 800-645-3693
