I am looking to get out with the kids and get them onto some walleys. Anybody having any luck in southern MN? I have been out to Lake Hanska and seem to only catch small cigars. Looking in the Mankato, New Ulm area. I heard german was producing some. Anybody been out there?

Not from Southern MN but I have heard of some decent walleye fishing. Where is drummer? He would know. How about SW minnesota? Interested in going out there?

German has been hit or miss for eyes. I have not caught any out there yet but have heard of a few being caught . I have no idea where they r getting them though. I have caught pike and pannies shallow weeds but only get crappies by the "city" over the 30 ' + . Id say hanksa is still a good bet for you. have u tried staying later after dark ? usualy when u have little ones during the day the bigger ones will come at sun set or later.
