he beat it by one ounce but the rules state that it has to beat old record by 2 ounces or more.there si a big article in the latest bass master mag , talks about how much everything costs over there!

The record was also beat in Dixon resivoire in so.Cal. but it was foul hooked.That fish was finnally found dead I belive last spring dead from old age and the rigors of spawing

Those are some big  :moon: fish!  There are still come big ones in Dixon, I didnt hear about that big fish dying, but I did watch the special on when it was 'foul hooked' on Nat. Geo.
There are guys that go out there everyday to try to catch it.  What a job!

"Dottie" was that fishes name in lake Dixon. She had a black birth mark on her gill plate. I wonder how many lures that fish saw in her life?  :scratch:
