So does anyone have a openwater trip already set up for the 2010 season yet?

Me i'm headed for the rainy river in low for some sturgeon action in April. I'm very excited about that can't wait to hook into one of those hogs!

I would also like to make it up to Red lake, and Blackduck sometime this summer.

What about everyone else?

Shooting for LoW in March/April and Bearhead this summer, among many trout fishing trips at some undisclosed locations.

Sounds like a good time. I bought a trout stamp last year and never even went out.

Well, lets see here....
-Pool 4 out by Lake City and Red Wing
-Trout fishing the streams down here in Winona - got skunked last time, but I have a new spot lined up
-Hopefully more Walleye and Bass fishing up in Otter Tail County (my cabin)
-Spring pike fishing on the river
-Pond fishing for big Bass and crappies (I have a secret spot)
....... Might try Cattin' on the Whitewater River or Bow fishing on the Mississippi backwaters (I would like to, but who knows)

I have alot of places I would like to go, but not alot of time, it will be a busy Spring/Summer!

I always make several trips to the North shore fly fishing and drifting spawn sacks.
Then, tons of pike fishing trips around here...  :fishing2:
And, there is the anual Salmon trip to Michigan...  :fishing:
Course, there is the new anual kicking Bobby's butt fishing trip!  :rotflmao:

So, I have a few planned.  ;D

I hope to be able to make it for at least one 5 day stint or longer to my Fathers cabin in Canada, but with the new job and not much time off on the books it may not happen.  I was going to try and make it in late May so i could scout the woods for a deer hunting spot before the leaves grow also, but might just have to settle for a fishing week this year and not the hunting fishing combo.
