Deteriorating ice conditions!!!
Be very cautious of ice conditions if coming up to fish the Ely area for lake trout, crappies, etc.
It would be a good idea to call in advance to check on them, so you don't make a long drive and find that you aren't able to fish safely.
The ice has deteriorated rapidy and there are many dangerous areas.
