This morning when I went to light my Coleman lantern I discovered I was out of stove and lantern fuel. Having read and heard for sometime that it was perfectly OK to use ordinary gasoline, I screwed my courage up real tight and decided to give it a shot. Guess what guy's? It works! Not only is my Coleman lantern performing flawlessly, it seems a little brighter to me than usual. Is it dangerous? I'm here to write about it, aren't I? How many of you are willing to admit you were dumb like me and kept paying $5.00+ per gallon for stove and lantern fuel?  I know of one gas station owner who when a friend was going to buy a gallon of stove and lantern fuel, told him,"We just keep that around for the tourist's. Use ordinary gas.!" Think of all the beer you could have bought with the money you wasted buying stove and lantern fuel! Guess it's just another example of how we, as the consumer, have been getting screwed by the oil company's without getting kissed first! >:( DIRTBALL2 ;)
