I'm heading to a little honey hole that's been good to me the last few openers.  I have to do some scouting there too.  Have to make sure it's a top notch experience for an unskilled beginner I'm hoping to meet up with on Monday. ;)

I think I'm going to hit Minnetonka but my plans are a little loose for the weekend - no way to start the season for a Fishing Challenge competitor with high expectations.

I feel like that unskilled beginner that The General spoke of.

Woman-Girl Lake chain with my son & my dad.  Opener has always been men only at our cabin as far back as I can recall.

Cody, we will be up on the Big Pond as well.  Heading there sometime Friday afternoon, but we will have our boat in the water at midnight, like we do every year.  And hey, so far, it looks like the weather is going to be really pretty nice compared to some past Openers!  Let's hope it stay's that way!!  :toast: Here's to no rain, CALM winds :titanic: -cuz, yup, I'm a puker, and LOT'S OF FISH!  :fishing: Hope you all have a safe opener and lots of good luck!

Me too, if my Dad and I both get our birds we'll probably run up to the Faribault lakes area or south metro and see what we can pull in the boat.

Well, I am offically "praying" for little or no wind on the Big Pond, BUT there is always some other options if that does happen, ...I "hear" the crappies are bitin' on some of those smaller honey holes up there! Well, they were last weekend anyway!!  :fishing:
