Water temps have warmed, fishing starting to pick up!!!
 The water temps on Ely lakes have finally warmed to the point that the walleyes have moved from bays,  onto the reefs.
Surface temps are about 72-73 degrees, and 67-68 degrees 12-14 feet down on reefs in the open water of the larger lakes.
Barring any drastic weather patterns, fishing should continue to get better the next few weeks.
With the recent rains, lake levels are close to normal.
