Does anyone have a preferred knot for joining fireline to flourocarbon?  I usually just used a swivel but it interfears  with casting and catches weeds.  I am open to suggestions.

I am going to do some testing.  I would like to find out the best way to attach flourocarbon directly to fireline.  My concern is that a lot of the line joining knots work well with mono(stretch) so I did not want to let my 2010 challenge partners down on a trophy because I made a stupid mistake on joining my flouro leader directly to my no stretch fireline.  I will keep you guys posted on what I find out.

Actually I still use a barrel swivel. Use the smallest swivel you can feel comfortable/secure with. If the weeds catch on the swivel chances are that same weed would have just slid down your line and gotten caught on your lure anyhow without the swivel.
