Besides the heavy fog on the way north on 35N and the HORRIBLE traffic due to construction on the way back.....the day was successful! Left the lake with 5 Coho's ranging from 16-19 inches and 3 Lakers weighing in at 3-6 pounds each. Fished fairly shallow all day long (from 0700-1630) in water ranging from 8-55 ft. Salmon hit on some red and orange bombers and the trout on green and purple flies with dipsy divers leading the way. Water temps ranged from 47 to 54 degrees and the best luck was had outside of the mud line in the clearer water. Missed a bunch of hits and had a few get off as well. Great trip while on the water and can't wait to get out again.:fishing:
