Getting ready to head to my shack on the Vermillion River.Haven't been up there since deer season and am wondering if the grouse numbers are there like last year?

I haven't tried hunting them yet.  I usually wait until the leaves drop so I can see farther.  Makes for more misses.   :whistling:
I did see a few while deer hunting this weekend.

Hey grouse dude... Im an avid grouse hunter also, have hunted near your area many times, one of my favorite places to chase birds with my setter, really nice area to camp in the fall also.  I like taking those hiking trails and fire roads off the echo trail & get off the beaten path up there. Didnt make it up there last year, but I usually get at least one trip in up there a year... let me know what things are like up that way when ya go up there.... :happy1:
