THE FIRST EVER "CALMING" SCENT!

EverCalmā„¢ Deer Herd In A Stickā„¢ is a collection of buck, doe and fawn bedding area scents and smells. By using this scent, you not only turn your hunting area into a deer bedding area, but calm deer and draw on their natural curiosity of other deer. Our stick formula allows hunters to quickly and quietly place this scent, which is crucial in eliminating any type of additional disturbances to the hunting area. With no spills, leaks or mess, this weather-resistant scent stick is the perfect all-season calming, cover, and attractant scent!

I became a firm believer a few years ago that 90% of that scent stuff is BS just another way for someone to take your money.. a ponzi scheme of the hunting world.

Sounds too good to be true, but sounds like it could work.... Im not sure what scents they are though, do deer secrete oils or something that denotes a bedding area?
I dont know much about deer bedding, but it might be worth a try, see if it makes a difference for you.... if there are limited deer in your area it might be worth a shot!

I have seen some scents work with my own eyes. But the one that must have the guy that came up with it still laughing his fool head off is cover scents. Skunk in particular. I hope no one here fell for that abomination. If you ever did please do not fess up to it.

Skunk scent was only ever good for pulling pranks and that's it!

This thread reminds me. I need to market my new product I invented called Settle Down Now, the first relaxing deer call to hit the market. Once they hear the sweet sounds of this call, they immediately let their guard down and are lulled into a false sense of safety and security, allowing you to make a well exectued shot to the vitals and bag the trophy of your dreams. Look for it in stores soon!

I think too much credit is given to the reaction of a deer to an odour. I used to smoke cigarettes and drink coffee while on stand and I've bagged quite a few of these animals. Curiousity will kill most of them, the rest are merely lucky. ;D

Buckslayer Bob.... sounds good... maybe a little behind each ear and some slapped on after shaving will work for me! :rotflmao:  Hey, Ive had deer (some with nice head gear!) come in on me when cutting up firewood up at camp.... aint kidding... thought many a time about starting up the Stihl in the stand when things get slow. ;)  Jkjkoda... what other scent comes from a deer that would calm/change behavior differently than what is available out there now?  not sayin, just askin.... ;)

It's not a scent, but a well placed rifle bullet to the neck really calms them down.  :sorry:
