I am gonna say this is not legal. But i really don't know what the laws are. think it would be a lot of fun though! What does everyone think?

I suppose its just like spearing.....   It would do the same thing.  Are you saying you just want to know if it would be legal, or you just want to spear?  Have you tried spearing?

Personally, I just spear - never thought about taking my bow in there, but essentially its the same thing, so maybe it is legal?

I'm just curious if it is legal or not? And if anyone has every thought of it and what they think. I have speared before and enjoy it but think i would enjoy it a lot more with my bow!

bow fishing is not considered spearing and was not legal to do through the ice until recently. if you look at the season and species for bow fishing it does not include northern pike.

also pay attention Cannot discharge an arrow while bow fishing within 150 ft. of occupied
structures or within 300 ft. of campsite from sunset to sunrise. i would say that another fish house would be covered by this.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!
