Ice reports
she's making ice up north... reports from blackduck are everything is skimmed over.  other lakes around bemidji and over to Remer were froze over before last weeks warmer weather, but it should take much to lock them in for the season.

Glad to hear that some lakes are froze over.   Can't wait to get the ice fishing gear out and use it! 

I was up by Hackensack last weekend hunting and some of the small lakes were iced over.

winnie is still open as is cutfoot. little ball club is froze, and so is McKinney lake in grand rapids.
pretty warm out today with the sun out.
supposed to dip below freezing tonight and teens tomorrow night. hopefluu it can repair any dammage the sun causes during the day.

Someone was walking out 300 yards to set up Tipups for pike last week.  I will wait till there is 2 feet of ice out there though!!!

I have read a report that there is 6 inches of ice 3/4 of a mile out on red

straight from the horses mouth... talked to Buddy Hillman and he said about 4 inches of ice up to about 1/2 mile out.  Some northerns are being caught...

My place is right next to Hillmans, and I see everyone who goes out of their road. I have been the only one fishing, nobody at all out of Hillmans, where are they catching northerns?
