Man Who Held Hunters at Gunpoint had been Stabbed by Trespasser
Updated: Nov 11, 2010 6:12 PM CST
Waushara County prosecutors filed charges against a man for holding three hunters at gunpoint.

Timothy Wolfe is the same man who was stabbed late last month while he was hunting. The trespasser who attacked him is still at-large.

According to court documents released late Thursday afternoon, the three hunters were tracking a deer when Wolfe, who was leasing the land, fired into the air and held them at gunpoint until deputies arrived.

According to the complaint, Wolfe thought one of the hunters was the man who stabbed him.

No one was hurt in Sunday's incident.

Wolfe was charged with disorderly conduct, use of a dangerous weapon, and three counts of negligent handling of a weapon.

The three hunters could still be cited for trespassing

Just a touch agressive. Yikes. But then again, if I thought one of them stabbed me previously I might have a chip on my shoulder too...

I'm beginning to think there is more to the first story than we know.

this seems like something the media will latch onto... we'll have to watch the papers to see if anyone publishes any more details
