So what do you know about Lake johanna? I am moving there at the end of the month and wondering what fishing opportunities I may have if any??

   You will like it there.  I had thought about trying it this winter early ice but the snow killed that plan.   I haven't driven by it since we got the rain but I am sure there will be some people out there. It gets pretty busy in the summer but you will have good panfish and bass opportunities.  There are walleyes in there with an occasional big one.   It's a nice area.

Thats kind of what I have heard. Actually know someone who pulled one of the biggest walleyes of his life out of there. Used to catch tons on panfish and bass when I was young. Fished the shoreline in the Northwestern campus or is that Bethel? I think we were in the Northwestern area.

I just wonder if people actually go there to fish? or just a recreation lake.

   Drove by there the last 2 days to stay off the freeway.  There are three permanent houses out there all congregated in the same area.  They are located off of a major point on the North side of the lake just east of the park.  Might be a good spot to try.  :scratch:
