Don't get me wrong, I love drillin' the ice, BUT, I have to admit, I am really lookin' forward to open water.   With snow, that stayed, in early November has got me thinkin' about water instead of ice already.   January is almost gone and Febuary is short.   Soon the cricks will be running along with the gills and crappies!   Old Man Winter is messin' with my head!

I still havent gotten my fix of hardwater yet - but I am starting to plan out my summer with trips up to the lake.  I will have more free time, fishing time will be increased 

Once Turkey hunting ends in May, I will start thinking more about summer fishing!   :fishing2:

Yep, I've got turkeys in my head more than anything.   The wonderful spring turkey season!   The open water fishing is all in Mother Natures hands.   Early spring again!?!   Gobblers in the A.M. and pannies in the P.M.!
