Auger Question?

   I posted earlier about my strikemaster lazer mag throttle freezing up.  Well after it thawed out it would not get to full throttle so I thought I stretched something.  Well tonight I finished off the cable.  I was looking at it while I squeezed the throttle.  The cable popped out of the throttle button.  It has a little hex knob on the end of the cable.  It pulled through the plastic thumb piece so I guess I am screwed.  I would think the plastic piece as well as the cable will need to be replaced.  Any experts have any easy answers?

     Not anymore.  I am pretty sure I pushed it to the next level.  I'm going to have to take it in.  I can see me trying to fix it and turning a simple job into an overhaul.

I have an extra throttle and cable for an eskimo stingray somewhere in the garage.  I'm not sure if it would work for you but I know it worked on the very first Mag 3's
