Lincoln County snowmobile trails open

For Wisconsinoutdoorfun.com • February 24, 2011

MERRILL -- Lincoln County's state-funded snowmobile trails opened at noon Wednesday.

The Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department said riders should watch for "trail closed" signs, because one segment of the F trail southwest of Merrill will remain closed.

Snowmobile trails designated for all-terrain vehicle use are closed to ATVs when the temperature is higher than 28 degrees.

For current trail conditions, call 715-539-1033 or visit www.co.lincoln.wi.us.
