Fish Balls
I fried these all day at the Big Little Sports Show and they went over huge!! Pike works great for this recipe. Take the ribs out, leave in the "y" bones and run through your grinder twice. No more "y" bones!


Fish Balls

2 lbs. cleaned ground fish
1/2 lb. ground bacon
3/4 c. crushed soda crackers
3 3ggs, beaten
1 small onion, finely chopped
Salt, pepper and seasoning salt

Mix fish, bacon, crackers, eggs, onion and seasonings to taste. Roll into golf ball-sized balls and drop on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Put in freezer until frozen. Remove and store in freezer bags.
To serve, dip in your choice of batter for frying and fry in hot oil until done.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds excellent! Will try them on opener this year. Usually I toss all Northerns back, but this looks easy and tasty!
