Alright fellas, so the weather is warming up, the ice is melted/ing and its time to start thinking about the summer.
Does anyone have any trips planned?  Who is going to try out some new lakes?  What lakes will you be fishing and what will you be trying to target?

I will be able to get up to the cabin more often (up near Detroit Lakes) so I plan to fish mostly up there.  It is a nice fishery for sunnies, but I will be targeting walleyes more too since I wasnt able to fish for them this winter.
I will be making some trips to the river between Red Wing and Winona, trying for a big walleye, or any river monster that wants to bite my lures.  :Fish:

Trout fishing!?!?!  Maybe ill be able to get down south to hit up some streams, but probably not

Hope to get up to the property earlier this year, Might have to throw a line out in the creek. The
neighbor said there is some big fish in there.

Summer calendar is filling up with names and trips being penciled in for fishing. With the price of gas going to be a factor this season I have a few TwoFer trips plans where I will fish one lake in the morning and another later in the same day before returning home. Also a few overnighters at friends places. The past few years fishing is now #1 and work around the house is # 2 having said that building a new sun porch is on the schedule along with a new storage building, both with a lot of glass for some free solar heating.
