New regs on the books~

So here we go guyz,new for 2011 is the two line regs,great news eh? Not so fast,with said regs the head DNR guy wants to reduce the daily limit to "TWO" walleye due to double hook mortality,further I've read they (DNR) will annouce delaying the fishing opener in some parts of the state due to late spawning~

With that said I wonder why mille laces isn't on the list? oh yeah the ceded territory and netting does'nt effect the walleye population but sport fishing during spawn does,the 60 ton's of walleye the tribes will harvest is just a drop in the bucket~ BS and I'm raising the flag

Its not to late to join in and try to get this issue resolved folks,the lake and community is in trouble and our DNR IS ON THE TAKE~

Please educate yourselves if you want to perserve this wonderful fishery for future generations.

I had 2 customers call today wondering if mille lacs was going to be delayed. I didnt know anything but they told me opener was being delayed 1 week on mille lacs so tribe had time to net it...following there agreement with dnr..does anyone know anything? This could really effect our business!Any info would help since the guys coming for opener wont be happy if they cant fish the big lake...
