Yes pitching.  I know we have a good GM, but I'm not all that excited about the moves we have made this offseason.

exactly, they could have signed him for $10 an hour because nobody else would have signed him.

Ron (D.L.) White

How many other teams need to fill a role on the D.L. list?  That is his best position!

Good Luck!

Radke made $10 million last year.  They might have some extra available since he retired.  I would rather see Terry Ryan work out a trade for a quality starter.

The budget will have to go up after the breakout years from Mauer, Morneau & Cuddyer.

We do have a few young arms (with a lot of upside)  like Bonsor, Garza & Perkins.  I think Silvia will bounce back from the poor season he had last year.  It is scary that we are so thin in the starting rotation.  It has been such a strength for the Twins the past few years.

I think we need to add at least one quality arm (that has a couple of big league years under his belt) to our staff.  The Twins offense is good (it could be better), the bull pen is darn good (almost great).  We need to strengthen the rotation!

It would be great to get Zito, but they would never spend enough to bring him here.  I wish we would have gone after Jason Jennings.  I don't like our chances of getting any new pitchers here that will make a difference.  It looks like the rotation will be Santana, Silva and a bunch of rookies and 2nd year pitchers.  Maybe we should have hung on to Loshe.
