This last weekend I was invited to go on my first ever spearing trip by Griz to come up to one of his many secrete lakes.

Well as some of you may have read already I just loved it.

Fist of all I need to thank Griz for his great guiding skills.

He told me plenty to get going in my Outer Lodge and taught me a few of his tricks.

I know a flip Ice house is not the most perfect spearing house,,,,but It sure worked well enough.

I Did end up buying my own spear and even though it took a flip of a quarter to make the final dishion,,,I will never look back  as I had a good friend of mine to show me the difference of a good one and cheap on.

Now I cant wait to go back out again I have th fever for sure,

I went out and bought a couple of harness for spares.

Thanks Again Griz!!!

Shut up and Shoot

Went out this AM. Left home at 8:30 and was  back home by 10:00 with a limit. Seen one more also. I think the cloud cover helped.
