Walleyes have really started to bite, but it has been tough to find any fish over the fifteen inch mark.  In front of the hill access producing the most numbers of walleyes.  Jigging is the way to attract the bigger fish.  Jigging spoons or rapalas tipped with minnows heads a good foot off the bottom in 18 - 22 feet of water.  Some nice sunfish also being pulled from the east side of Caughren's point along weedlines 10 -12 feet.  Wet flies tipped with waxies the best bet for the sunnies.
 
Ice conditions are pretty spotty; anywhere from three inches to eleven inches on Osakis.  Very little snow left on the ice, and lots of water on top in some areas.  Watch for some big ice heaves of off Miller's Point.
